Halfway ? Kuta beach, Bali

A hot sunny day and excellent 2-3 foot conditions at halfway beach greeted the surfers last Sunday. Running a unique teams format, surfers from the local surf stores were cheered on by their fellow staff members and a large crowd from the Bali surfing community as they competed for the Rp5,000,000 first prize, but more importantly, the right to claim themselves as Bali?s most core store.

Cimaja ? West Java

The third heat of the Quiksilver ?King of the Groms? had the Quiksilver team travel to Cimaja-West Java. 41 grommets registered for the event, 4 of them flying over from Bali. They all have the same goal, to get an entry into the final of the ?King of the Groms? in Bali.

Balangan ? Pecatu, Bali

This event suppose to be held in Uluwatu but moved it to Dreamland then to Balangan to find the perfect wave for those kids. Lucky, there are many beaches in Bukit Pecatu (Pecatu Hill). It was rain at the Bukit but turned out to be a beautiful sunny day at Balangan.

Indonesian Surfing Championship (ISC) Award Night was held on November 12th 2005 in Kartika Plaza Hotel ? Kuta, Bali. An achievement night to all surfers in Indonesia.

Everybody ?Got Nuts!? during the 3rd Annual VQS Indonesian Championship held on 17^th July, 2005 at Halfway ? Kuta Beach, Bali.

The VQS Indonesian Championship is the final held after the 10 events held during the 2004/2005 season. The top 12 kids from each area qualify for the champs. There were 60 qualifiers in total, with kids from all over Bali- Kuta, Sanur, Pecatu and Medewi and a team of 18 nuts drove a treacherous 24 hour drive from Cimaja-West Java to Bali - packed into 2 cars.

Once again, Volcom Stone's Wild In The Parks was held on the beach. The event is held in a temporary skate park built right in the middle of Kuta Beach, an amazing spectacle with surf pumping in the background. WITP is considered to be the premier skate event of Kuta Karnival, 2005 held from 25th June - 3rd July. The whole day rocked!

VOLCOM STONE FLYINGFISH was held at Halfway ? Kuta Beach. The waves were 2 to 3 feet, with perfect tides and conditions.

The last event of the 2004-2005 VQS surf series was held at Medewi Beach in Negara. The wave is a long left hander, the conditions were glassy, 1 to 2 feet and off shore. It wasn't perfect, but a couple good ones came through and it was consistent all day.

It was the 2nd Billabong yearly surfing contest at Keramas beach, and also it is the 1st event in the Indonesian Surfing Championship 2005 series. It were 3 days full of surfing, music and parties..!

at the Rip Curl Girls Go Surfing Day which was happening on Saturday May 7^th down on Double Six beach in front of the Rip Curl School of Surf.

Volcom Stone?s Helifish surf series was held on April 10th 2005 at the front of Samudra Beach Hotel, the waves were small, only 1 ft beach break.

VOLCOM STONE GRILLFISH was held at Balangan Beach. The wave is a lefthander and the conditions 2 to 3,5 ft perfect wind - off shore conditions and a sunny day-it doesn't get much better. The kids were ready on the beach early morning with their weapons.

Wooooow, it was really crazy down at Double Six beach this Easter holiday.

The day was so nuts? the weather so hot and sunny and Pelembeng offered some good surf all morning long. The afternoon wind kicked in, but with the pushing swell there was still some rippable surf. To top off the day there was free nuts, drinks, snacks and traditional sate ikan (fish) for lunch.

It was nnuuuttsss...! Nobody does like Volcom does. More than 6000 kids were going nuts at the first stop of Volcom Stone's Wild In The Parks 2005 in Yogyakarta. They didn't want miss the wild action in the skate park, the film premiere of Chichagof "The Hook" or the bands.

The Helifish was held at Sunset Beach, in the most famous bay in West Java, Pelabuhan Ratu. From the early hours of the morning, kids piled into sign up for a day of fun and surfing. The Grom division filled up the fastest, which is really good news.our event successfully encourages the kids in this area to ride. Unfortunately, some of the older kids in the Junior Division couldn't make the event, as the local government asked their help to serve in the area as life guards for the weekend. This weekend is one of the biggest national holiday weekends in Indonesia.

The first day of the 2 days party began with WILD IN THE PARKS #2, it was held on Saturday at Lapangan Niti Mandala ? a huge park in Denpasar. We were able to close the road next to the park to give the skaters one of the smoothest surfaces they have ever skated on in Bali. The participants came from Java, Sumatra and all over Bali to be wild in the park and the loud music from Volcom Entertainment made it even more fun!

The kids were super eager and began showing up from 7 am to guarantee a spot in this free contest. This is the very first skate event that Volcom has held in Bali ? the kids from Bali were so amazed with the event. Everyone that entered was given a free Volcom t'shirt and free lunch. Free entry, free food and free stuff is our motto. Its all free!
